Dr Cameron Little

Councillor, City of Monash

Thanks for visiting my website.

I’m a born and raised Monash resident, and this is the place I call home. Most weeks you’ll find me walking my dog at Scammell Reserve, heading down to the shops in Clayton, or on the court playing tennis at Pinewood. These everyday routines are a big part of why I care so deeply about this area — it’s where life happens.

South Oakleigh and Clayton are diverse, active communities made up of people who care about where they live and how their neighbourhoods work. Like many locals, I see the challenges as well as the strengths: pressure on access and parking, the impact of major projects, the importance of local sport and community facilities, and the need for council to stay connected to what’s happening on the ground.

As a councillor for Banksia Ward, my role is to make sure these areas are heard and not overlooked. That means listening carefully to residents and local businesses, raising concerns where things aren’t working, and pushing for practical outcomes that improve day-to-day life.

I believe good local government should be straightforward and accessible. It’s not about grand statements — it’s about understanding issues properly, being honest about constraints, and following things through.

If you live, work, or spend time in Banksia Ward and there’s something you’d like to raise, you’re always welcome to get in touch.

As always, please get in touch with any questions or concerns, and keep me updated on your news too! You can drop me a line at Cameron.Little@monash.vic.gov.au
